Onboarding

When you sign in to team.sprigr.com for the first time, Sprigr Teams walks you through a short setup process to get your workspace ready. This guide explains what to expect at each step and how to start using the platform right away.

The Agents page after first setup

  1. Sign in and create your workspace

After signing in with your email and password (or an invitation link from a colleague), you will land on the workspace setup screen. Enter your organisation name — this is the name your team sees when they sign in. For example, “Smith Plumbing” or “Metro HVAC Services”. You can change this later in Settings.

  2. Choose a plan

Select the plan that fits your business. Each plan includes a set number of agents, conversations, and tool executions per month. If you are just getting started, the free trial gives you full access so you can test everything before committing. See Plans for a detailed comparison of what each tier includes.

  3. Meet your companion agent

Sprigr Teams automatically creates a companion agent just for you. This is your personal AI assistant within the platform. It already knows the basics of how Sprigr Teams works and can help you navigate settings, answer questions about features, or brainstorm how to set up your first agents. You will find it at the top of the Agents page under YOUR AI. Learn more about what your companion can do in the Companion Agents guide.

  4. Explore the portal

Once setup is complete, you land on the main dashboard. Take a moment to familiarise yourself with the sidebar navigation — this is how you move between every section of Sprigr Teams.

The sidebar on the left is your main navigation. Here is what each section does:

Agents

Create, configure, and manage your AI agents. This is where you define what each agent does, how it communicates, and which tools it can use.

Conversations

View and manage all conversations across your organisation. Filter by agent, channel, or status. Jump into any conversation to see the full history.

Workflows

Build automated multi-step processes with approvals and agent actions. Ideal for structured tasks like dispatch, onboarding, or invoice chasing.

Knowledge

Upload documents, manuals, and reference material that your agents can search when answering questions. Keep your agents accurate and up to date.

Integrations

Connect external services like Gmail, Outlook, simPRO, or Google Drive so your agents can send emails, create jobs, and pull data from other systems.

Settings

Manage your organisation profile, team members, billing, company directives, and security preferences.

After onboarding, the most impactful thing you can do is create your first working agent. Most trade businesses start with one of these:

  • A customer enquiry agent that answers common questions via your website or WhatsApp. It can look up your services, provide rough timeframes, and collect job details from prospective customers.
  • An internal assistant that helps your office team with admin tasks like drafting emails, summarising job notes, or looking up information in your knowledge base.
  • A dispatch coordinator that triages incoming jobs, checks technician availability, and sends notifications to the right people.

Head to the Quick Start guide for step-by-step instructions on creating your first agent, or see Creating Agents for a deeper walkthrough.

You do not have to set everything up alone. Invite team members early so they can start using the companion agent and provide feedback on how your custom agents are performing.

To invite someone, go to Settings > Team Members and enter their email address. They will receive an invitation link and go through a simplified version of the onboarding process (they join your existing workspace rather than creating a new one). See Team Members for details on roles and permissions.

Now that your workspace is set up, here is where to go next:

  • Quick Start — Create your first agent and send your first message in under five minutes.
  • Key Concepts — Understand agents, conversations, workflows, and how they fit together.
  • Companion Agents — Learn how to get the most from your personal AI assistant.
  • Plans — Compare plans and understand what is included in each tier.
  • Team Members — Invite colleagues and manage access levels.
