Companion Agents

Every person in your organisation gets a companion agent — a personal AI assistant that is automatically created the first time you log in to Sprigr Teams. Your companion is your gateway to the entire platform.

Your companion agent in the YOUR AI section

Your companion agent is a personal assistant that sits in the YOUR AI section at the top of the Agents page. Unlike the specialist agents in the main grid (which serve the whole organisation), your companion works exclusively for you.

Think of it as a personal PA who knows your organisation inside out. It can:

  • Answer questions using your company’s knowledge bases
  • Delegate tasks to specialist agents on your behalf
  • Create new agents when you need a specialist for a specific task
  • Help you navigate the platform, find information, and manage your workflow
  • Review approvals and handle administrative tasks

Your companion is provisioned automatically — there is nothing to set up. The first time you sign in to team.sprigr.com, your companion agent is created and ready to go. Just click on it to start a conversation.

Your companion has access to the same knowledge bases and integrations available to your organisation, plus two special tools that only companion agents have:

This tool lets your companion ask another agent to do something on your behalf. Instead of switching between multiple agent conversations, you can tell your companion what you need and it will find the right agent for the job.

For example:

  • “Ask the scheduling agent to book a site visit for tomorrow at 10am.”
  • “Get the finance agent to pull last month’s invoice summary.”
  • “Have the HR agent check how many leave days I have remaining.”

Your companion handles the back-and-forth with the specialist agent and brings the result back to you.

When you need an agent for a specific task that does not already exist, your companion can spin one up for you. Tell it what you need, and it will create a new agent with the right persona, tools, and settings.

For example:

  • “I need an agent that can help me draft client proposals.”
  • “Create a specialist to monitor our Google reviews and summarise them weekly.”
